EY Consulting continues its development strategy with the acquisition of adameo.

Customers and counterparties

EY Consulting, the leading strategic transformation consultancy, announces the acquisition of adameo, a consultancy firm specializing in the supply chain, with 70 employees. This new step allows EY Consulting to accelerate its growth strategy in the supply chain in France and Europe.

The adameo teams work on all supply chain issues, placing customer usage and expectations at the heart of their thinking. From strategic vision to operational implementation, adameo helps its clients to make their supply chain a vector for growth and competitiveness, by relying on a triptych of Operations, Information Systems & New Technologies, and Human Resources. The teams provide consulting services to define master plans, implement technological solutions (OMS, WMS, TMS, WCS, AI, Blockchain, etc.), manage demand forecasting, and optimize intralogistics.

adameo consolidates its know-how thanks to an ecosystem that is a source of innovation (start-ups, international technology players, editors, highly experienced and recognized interim managers, institutions, etc.).

Following a sale process organized by PAX Corporate Finance, the company’s historical advisor, EY stood out from a field of ten or so suitors, due in particular to a significant strategic convergence. EY Consulting, already present in the supply chain consulting business, will give adameo the means to grow in France and internationally.

This merger allows EY Consulting to consolidate its supply chain expertise in the French market, doubling the size of the team dedicated to these issues to 150 consultants. It also allows EY Consulting’s Europe West region to deploy cutting-edge know-how in digital supply chain transformation in order to address the issues of its international clients.

This transaction reinforces PAX Corporate Finance’s position as a key player in the transfer of growth SMEs, particularly in the consulting market. It echoes the recent accompaniment of entrepreneurs and managers of Sfeir, Siris Advisory or Teolia.

We are very pleased to welcome adameo's teams, specialists in supply chain transformation, who will strengthen our digital supply chain skills, a subject at the heart of our client's global performance. EY is now uniquely positioned to address all the issues and facets of supply chain optimization, from upstream strategic thinking to concrete operational implementation, and to help its clients turn it into a strategic asset for differentiation," says Bertrand Baret, Managing Partner of EY Consulting France and Deputy Managing Partner of EY Consulting Europe West.
This new acquisition is part of our wider strategy to become the leading firm for our clients' transformation issues and to be at the forefront of the market. Strengthening our teams and adding new skills is an ongoing priority. This includes acquisitions and investments in strategic areas, as well as the recruitment of market-recognized experts," adds Eric Fourel, President of EY in France.
With an increasingly complex and uncertain operational and commercial environment and growing demands for agility and performance, the supply chain must reinvent itself to ensure the expected revenue and service levels. In this respect, digital represents an opportunity and a powerful lever to adapt to this new situation" adds Philippe Dulou, EY Consulting Partner, Supply Chain & Operations Leader, France.
Today, our clients, whatever their size, ask us to help them solve concrete problems that impact the functioning of the entire company and that require a global understanding of the supply chain: customer promise and omnichannel, decarbonization and urban logistics, visibility and resilience, innovation, and digital tools, etc. These problems, which are accentuated by the multiple crises we are experiencing, very often have to be addressed on an international scale. By joining EY Consulting, we will be able to offer our clients the benefit of a solid European and global network to meet these challenges," explains Bruno Coste, founder, and president of Adameo. "Adameo's triptych of expertise - Business, Technology, and People - corresponds perfectly to EY Consulting's organization and areas of expertise. Joining such a group is a real opportunity for everyone!
