Ares refocuses

For approximately 6 M Euro(s), De Gamma, a publisher of management applications, acquires the publishing division of the Arcole software package from Groupe Ares. This division, with revenues of 4 M Euro(s) in 2007, publishes software solutions; it has an R&D team. The 100 employees are not all taken over, as Ares retains the “integration” activity. Listed on Eurolist C, the seller is refocusing on IT services, as evidenced by the acquisitions of Adequat and Databail (see no. 869). Created in 2001, De Gamma belongs mainly to its founder, alongside the management.
