Three years after its creation, the communication consulting agency Welove has acquired the agency “C’est un Signe”. This operation is a first step in the agency’s development. It will enable the agency to significantly increase its offer thanks to the synergies generated by the on- and off-line expertise of the two structures.
The new agency is now organised around five areas of expertise: Advertising, Brand Strategies and Research, Operational and Relationship Marketing, Sales Promotion and Digital.
The agency now employs around twenty professionals serving key accounts in various sectors such as Nestlé Waters (Vittel, Perrier, San Pellegrino), Corsair, La Croix, Groupama Assurance, RATP, Crédit Agricole, Laboratoire Alcon, Indésit, Allianz, La ligue contre le Cancer, etc., as well as clients in the Higher Education sector, with expertise developed around communication issues in this field with La Sorbonne, ECG, IFPASS, ESSIE, Université Paris Est, CFI.
With a client base that complements that of C’est un Signe, and a very compatible corporate culture based on the autonomy of the account managers, Welove proved to be the best partner for the takeover of C’est un Signe, with a strategic project of regrouping to create a communications consultancy agency with multiple skills and recognised creativity. In 2012, the agencies achieved a consolidated turnover of €3M.
In order to be able to devote himself to new professional projects, particularly in China, Mr. Joel Knafo mandated Pax Corporate Finance in mid-2012 to find a buyer for the agency C’est un Signe.
Advised by Laurent-Bernard Féral (PAX Corporate Finance), Joel Knafo sold the entire capital of C’est un Signe to Welove.
Following this operation, Mr. Rodolphe Vonthron declares: “Our clients are brands that have mostly networks looking for creative power at both strategic and graphic levels. The combination of the two structures will provide our clients with an optimum level of satisfaction.
