Innov'SA integrates Nausicaa Médical's know-how and positions itself as a leading player in medical equipment for seniors.

Customers and counterparties

Innov’SA, managed and majority owned by Bruce Andurand and François Lessard, is acquiring Nausicaa Medical. The transaction is supported by debt arranged by BNP Paribas. Innov’SA is supported by the Socadif fund.

Historically, Innov’SA has enjoyed an excellent reputation for its innovative shell chairs and has been able to complete its range of medical devices with the launch in 2019 of push chairs. In order to meet the expectations of senior citizens in a comprehensive manner, a comfort range with lifting and resting chairs has been developed by its teams. Aware of its strengths, the company has decided to accelerate this diversification of its medical ranges through external growth.

After a search initiated in December 2020 with the teams of PAX Corporate Finance, Innov’SA chose to acquire Nausicaa Médical.

This acquisition offers numerous synergies between the two companies in terms of complementary product ranges, optimisation of internal processes and integration of new know-how. Nausicaa Médical will add €10 million in sales and a team of 60 employees to Innov’SA, with approximately 20% of its sales generated abroad. The new entity should have sales of around €50 million by 2021.

Objective: To become the build-up platform on the Silver economy market In order to accelerate its growth, Innov'SA's ambition is to provide a global response to seniors with a wide range of medical equipment. This ambition involves intensifying its international sales, studying new distribution channels and new acquisition opportunities.
