Acquisition

Jun 2011

PAX Corporate Finance is organising a double coup for the MJA Group.

Customers and counterparties

One month after acquiring Néopodia, a media company specialising in mobile takeaways, the Touraine-based multi-channel communications group has turned its attention to two Parisian agencies (EDIT&MOI and SBMA Advertising), thereby making its seventh and eighth acquisitions since its creation.

3.5 M€ turnover – 20 to 25 people

With a number of major accounts (Boulanger, Dexia, Unibail, etc.), particularly in the home/decor sector, EDIT&MOI achieved a turnover of more than €2.0 million in 2010. This acquisition allows the MJA group to deploy its offer to its historical clients and to reinforce its digital skills.

With 8 areas of expertise and a strong focus on the pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical sector, SBMA offers strong synergies with the MJA Group, which is thus diversifying its field of expertise in sectors that have not yet been explored by the group.

These two acquisitions respect the same acquisition philosophy adopted by Olivier Santini since the creation of his group, i.e. a strong involvement of the historical managers through profit-sharing in the group’s results.
